Teaching is both rewarding and challenging.  I teach second grade and for ten months, my students are like my own kids.  I laugh for them, cry for them, worry about them and hope for them.  If you know any teachers, summer is their salvation.  Also, if you know any teachers, our paychecks don't allow for a leisurely summer, so many of us need to work.  I have done the tutoring and summer school route, but taking a break from the regular grind isn't just beneficial for my mental state, but it's also good for my future students.

My husband and I have always dreamed of doing something different, and with that, Left Field was born.
